From Miami Beach
Take the Mac Arthur Causeway (I-395 West). Merge onto FL-836 West via exit number 1A toward AIRPORT. Follow SR-836 to 107th Avenue South. Take 107th Avenue to SW 16th Street (FIU main entrance), follow traffic circle around 3/4 veering left; the Performing Arts Center will be first building on left. Or pass the SW 16th Street entrance and make the next right at SW 1700 BLOCK. At the first intersection, make a left and park in Parking Lot 5, which will be the first parking lot on your left adjacent to the School of Music.
From the Palmetto (SR-826)
Head south to S.W. 8th Street West. Take to S.W. 107th Avenue, make left and go pass the S.W. 16th entrance to the S.W. 1700 BLOCK entrance and make a right. At the first intersection, make a left and park in Parking Lot 5, which will be the first parking lot on your left adjacent to the School of Music.
From I-95
Head south and exit SR-836 WEST. Follow SR-836 to 107th Avenue South. Take 107th Avenue to SW 16th Street (FIU main entrance), follow traffic circle (with Big Red Sculpture) around 3/4 veering left, the Performing Arts Center will be first building on left. Or pass the SW 16th Street entrance and make the next right at SW 1700 BLOCK. At the first intersection (108th Ave and SW 17th St), make a left and park in Parking Lot 5, which will be the first parking lot on your left adjacent to the School of Music.
From the Florida Turnpike
Follow the Florida Turnpike to the Tamiami Trail exit (SW 8th Street). Take the SW 8th Street EAST exit to 107 Avenue, make a right and take 107th Avenue to SW 16th Street (FIU main entrance), follow traffic circle (with Big Red Sculpture) around 3/4 veering left, Performing Arts Center will be first building on left. Or pass the SW 16th Street entrance and make the next right at SW 1700 BLOCK. At the first intersection (108th Ave and SW 17th St), make a left and park in Parking Lot 5, which will be the first parking lot on your left adjacent to the School of Music.
After Parking
Follow the driveway through the chain link fence toward the School of Music. Pass the loading dock on your left and continue up the walkway that hugs the building. Pass through the door at the end of the walkway, and after a few steps turn left down the hallway and through the double doors. The Rotunda is straight in front of you with the Concert Hall on your left. To reach the Recital Hall, turn left just before the double doors. It'll be the first entrance on the right, WPAC 150.
Daytime Parking
To visit the School of Music during the daytime, instead of going around the traffic circle to your left, continue through the circle exiting straight ahead and park in the Blue Garage to your left. There is metered parking on the first floor and master meter machines as well near the exit to campus. The School of Music is to the left of the Blue Garage. If the Blue Garage is full, you can also park in the Gold Garage across the street to your right.
